KIDS OF LOVE FOUNDATION, INC. EXPANDING ITS MISSION OF
HELPING KIDS WITH NEEDS TO THE PITTSBURGH AREA

PITTSBURGH, PA (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — Kids of Love Foundation was created by an 8-year-old boy wanting to make a difference in the lives of kids with cancer and other debilitating diseases.  After 10 years of great success in South Florida, Kids of Love Foundation is expanding the charity into the Pittsburgh, PA area with the assistance of the community and Me and You and a Photo Booth Too, LLC.

When communities and businesses come together, real differences are made.  The Kids of Love Foundation provides assistance, funds for research and raises awareness for children and their families who are battling cancer and other debilitating diseases.  These families often find themselves pushed to their limits with financial burdens and emotional stress.  Thanks to the community support in the Pittsburgh area, the Kids of Love Foundation can help more children become cancer survivors.

Kids of Love is proud to announce their debut into the Pittsburgh area at the Destination: “I Do!” Wedding and Event Expo on September 24, 2017 from 12 pm to 4 pm, at the Scottish Rite Cathedral in New Castle, PA.  This event will not only host the live entertainment of Hermie Granati and Bailey Taylor but will showcase numerous exhibitors from the area that cater to not only wedding events, but all types of events.  A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit Kids of Love Foundation with their mission of placing of Kids of Love Toy Kart on a year round basis at local children’s hospitals to help ease the anxiety these children endure while in the hospital.

Director of Kids of Love, Kim Slapikas said, “We love it when a community and local businesses come together to make a difference in the community to help children suffering from cancer and debilitating diseases.  September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month and we are excited to have the opportunity to spread the awareness and advocate on behalf of these children.”

The Kids of Love Foundation is a 501(c)3 public charity with a mission to spotlight childhood cancer and other debilitating diseases, as well as being an advocacy program providing funding for childhood cancer research, awareness and support for these children and their families.  We also provide year found “Kids of Love Toy Karts’ at various hospitals bringing smiles where there have been tears.
