Weatherspoon & Williams LLC Meet With South Korean Delegation
For Potential Partnering on P3 Project
PITTSBURGH, PA (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — Infrastructure and the rebuilding of America has been a topic of discussion for politicians near and far for many years. Positioning the business to be a part of the redevelopment process, representatives from Pittsburgh based Weatherspoon & Williams LLC recently met with a South Korean Delegation for potential partnering on the P3 project for the I-95/I-495 Capital Beltway Improvement Project in the Maryland, Washington, D.C and Virginia region. The meeting was held at The Minority Business Development Agency Baltimore Business Center.

“I feel positive about the meeting. Understanding that it’s going to take a mix of private and public partnerships to rebuild our roads, bridges and other major projects, I am happy that Weatherspoon & Williams LLC has the opportunity to be involved in the early stages, said Donald Williams, CEO of the 30-year-old company. His first time presenting through an interpreter, he said it was a great experience.

Rebuilding America’s infrastructure is a critical component of President Donald Trump’s agenda to promote job creation and grow the U.S. economy. In his 2018 State of the Union Address, the President proposed to devote $200 billion over the next decade in new spending to improve the country’s infrastructure, starting with $44.6 billion in 2019. The presidents’ projected plan is slated to generate as much as $1.5 trillion to $1.7 trillion in new investments in building roads, bridges and other major projects over the next 10 years, in large part relying on states, cities and private companies to fund them.
