PITTSBURGH FRINGE FESTIVAL RECEIVES SPROUT FUND’S SEED AWARD!

Pittsburgh, PA (PittsburghNewsWire.com) —  Pittsburgh Fringe Festival is proud to announce that the organization is a recipient of a 2014 Sprout Seed Award. This generous grant helps to fund the Fringe’s 24 theatrical performances in more than three Shadyside venues this coming May. Since 2001, The Sprout Fund has been offering financial awards in the amount of $500 to $10,000 to support new projects that could impact the Pittsburgh region in a profound way. The May festival is only the beginning of what the Fringe plans to do to provide opportunities for adventurous artists in the Pittsburgh community.
