LOCAL MARKETING FIRM, MIND OVER MEDIA,
WINS FOUR IN THE 35TH ANNUAL TELLY AWARDS

Pittsburgh, PA
(PittsburghNewsWire.com) — The Telly Awards has named FOUR Mind Over Media video productions as winners in the 35th Annual Telly Awards.   With nearly 12,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries, this is truly an honor.

The winning entries won both Silver (the highest award) and Bronze in two categories. In the Institutional Image category, Mind Over Media’s work for the University of Iowa on “The Hawkeye Way” commercial won Silver and the University of Scranton commercial, “Expect More”, won Bronze.  For the Sports category, Mind Over Media’s work for Rutgers University won both Silver and Bronze for two television programs, “R Football” and “15 Days of Spring” respectively.

As a full-service marketing strategy firm in Pittsburgh, Mind Over Media provides video, digital, and print media solutions for the education, corporate, and athletic sectors. Originally founded in 1982 by Guido D’Elia and Joseph Wittkofski as a boutique agency with a focus on communications strategy and video production, the firm expanded to include interactive and Web capabilities in the late ‘90s. With the support of their notable research & branding department, the agency enjoys continued success bringing best in class expertise and experience to their clients.

The Telly Awards was founded in 1979 and is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, the finest video and film productions, and online commercials, video and films.  Winners represent the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, and corporate video departments in the world.

A prestigious judging panel of over 500 accomplished industry professionals, each a past winner of a Silver Telly and a member of The Silver Telly Council, judged the competition, upholding the historical standard of excellence that Telly represents.  The Silver Council evaluated entries to recognize distinction in creative work – entries do not compete against each other – rather entries are judged against a high standard of merit.  Less than 10% of entries are chosen as Winners of the Silver Telly, our highest honor.  Approximately 25% of entries are chosen as Winners of the Bronze Telly.

“The Telly Awards has a mission to honor the very best in film and video,” said Linda Day, Executive Director of the Telly Awards.  “Mind Over Media’s accomplishment illustrates their creativity, skill, and dedication to their craft and serves as a testament to great film and video production.”
