PITTSBURGH FRINGE OPENS APPLICATIONS

Pittsburgh, PA (PittsburghNewsWire.com) —  Applications for the 2015 Pittsburgh Fringe Festival are now open. The Pittsburgh Fringe Festival will be held over Mother’s Day weekend (May 8-10, 2015). Our selection process is unjuried, meaning we do not select acts to participate in our festival based on whether or not the companyis a well-known group. This means that each act has as much potential of being selected as any other. Any performer or group of performers is encouraged to apply.

By promoting adventurous performing artists to equally as adventurous audiences, Pittsburgh Fringe Festival, LLC (PghFringe) is acting on its goal of making the performing arts available to all. Our festival was a huge success last year, thanks in part to the great applications and performances we received and funding through People Natural Gas and, especially, the Sprout Fund. Prospective performers have until December 31st to apply to be a part of the festival.

To apply, please visit http://pittsburghfringe.org/apply/.

We will draw names at our Announcement Party on January 14, 2015.
