NEW SUN RISING LAUNCHES ARTS MODE
@WIGLE WHISKEY BARRELHOUSE ON JULY 15TH
“We believe that creatives have the opportunity to impact their local community if given the tools to do so. ‘arts MODE’ provides professional development, a sense of tribe and community, and access to resources to develop an individual’s or group’s sustainability. The workshops focus on individual goals, as well as a monthly topic. Our program seeks artists and creatives looking to become community builders-at whatever level the individual or organization is in currently,” Dan Stiker, Director of Fiscal Sponsorship + arts MODE.

For the past decade we have supported grass-roots community projects operating at the intersection of arts, social enterprise, and citizen engagement working to activate a community vision. These passionate, creative, visionary people simply need a framework, encouragement and resources like arts MODE to be more sustainable and grow their impact” Scott Wolovich, New Sun Rising Co-Founder and Executive Director.
By July 15th, an intial co-hort of 10 fellows will be selected for the arts MODE. We are looking for creatives from small festivals to individual artists serving diverse communities. New Sun Rising encourages arts leaders to apply at www.newsunrising.org/arts-mode who seek to solve strategic & operational issues, develop sustainable plans of action, position themselves for funding, identify opportunities for growth & partnership, or just get started.
New Sun Rising: arts MODE is a professional development program to build arts entrepreneurs or organizations focusing on the intersection of arts and community. Our collaborative 12 month program helps you through the difficult path of getting started, building a tribe of support, and launching meaningful solutions. We focus on issues and opportunities that impact a diverse community of artists and meet them where they are.
