THE MAKER THEATER HOSTS TWO SENSUAL SPECTACLES:
A Creepy and Lustful Burlesque for the Risqué Audience

PITTSBURGH, PA (PittsburghNewsWire.com) —  On Friday the 13th and Saturday the 14th of November, the Maker Theater will fill the audience’s weekend with sass, sex, and fun. The dark burlesque style shows will take place at the Maker Theater in Shadyside. There will be an early and late show, both catered to a different type of audience.

The first showing of this sexy spectacle, “The Scarlet Cabaret,” will take place at 8:00pm.  Hosted by Macabre and Morose, this light and quirky show takes a slant on the 1940s comedy duo. Full of flirtatious adult humor, “The Scarlet Cabaret” is playfully mature. The second showing, “The Safe Word Show,” will take place at 10:00pm and is hosted by Black Cat and Little Bonnie the Goblin Girl. This show celebrates the creepy and peculiar with more eccentric characters, introducing the fun of getting your kink on. Inspired by 1940s clubs, these shows will take the audience back in time while they experience the magic of burlesque. Strange, dark, and funny, these shows will excite all of the audience’s fetishes.

“This will be the perfect show to indulge your voyeuristic desires,” says co-creator Michael McGovern of Black Cat Theatre Company. “Lots of teasing and pleasing right before your very eyes.  And if you’re lucky, right on your very lap!”
The Maker Theater is an 80 seat developmental theater in the heart of Pittsburgh’s East End. The Maker focuses on co-producing shows with small local theater companies, affordable rentals, presenting new works and classics done in fresh ways.
