Pays Tribute to Music Memories – The Last to Fade With Alzheimer’s
“A Rock Symphony” kicks off fundraising efforts for 21Voices.org, which aims to drive awareness, understanding, and compassion for serious social and health issues like Alzheimer’s disease through the power and scope of film, music, art, and media. Funds will go directly to the production of 21Voices: Touched by Alzheimer’s, a ground-breaking documentary that will feature twenty-one interviewees, each chosen for their distinct purview and experience with Alzheimer’s and dementia, including patients, families, caretakers, first responders, and researchers.
“This symphony is a rewarding outlet for me to apply my musical and cinematic talents to shine a light on the impact of Alzheimer’s, which is affecting 5.4 million Americans this year alone,” said 21Voices.org co-founder and A Rock Symphony writer Tom Kurlander.
The public will have two opportunities to see “A Rock Symphony.” October 22, 2016 at 7 p.m. at The Oaks Theater in Oakmont, PA and November 12, 2016 and 7 p.m. at Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic High School in Cranberry Twp, PA. The tickets are $45 for adults and $10 for students, available at 21Voices.org and ShowClix. A special thank you to Presbyterian SeniorCare for being the lead sponsors of “A Rock Symphony.”
