FACEBOOK CHAT BOT CONNECTS PITTSBURGH TECH SCENE

PITTSBURGH, PA (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — Built in Pitt has launched a Facebook Chat Bot to connect Pittsburgh’s technology community. The Bot talks to you directly over Facebook Messenger to understand your goals and then provides helpful local resources for job seekers, startups, and those looking for fun things to do around town.

The service is 100% free on their Facebook page (facebook.com/builtinpitt) or at BuiltinPitt.com. The Bot’s creator, Zachary Swetz, also hosts the Tech Happy Hour Meetup group with over 300 members and a podcast interviewing local startup founders.

Zachary said, “My goal is to help create connections within the community and foster entrepreneurship. Pittsburgh has the most diversely talented and promising technology ecosystem in the country and it’s exciting to be here at this time.”

Next step for Built in Pitt is to expand their reach within the community and try to help startups grow. Said Zachary, “Pittsburgh is home to amazing, creative, and intelligent people so any small thing we can do to help bring them closer is worth doing.”
