World Renowned Expert Bringing PTSD Training to Pittsburgh

CRANBERRY, TWP (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — The National Association of Social Workers, Southwestern PA Division, and Cognitive Behavior Institute are hosting a two day PTSD Conference presented by Dr. Edna Foa, a world leading expert in PTSD.   Dr. Edna Foa is a Professor of Clinical Psychology at University of Pennsylvania and Director of the Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety. The workshop will be held Friday, April 6, 2018 and Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the Chadwick Event Center in Wexford, PA.  The workshop will focus on Prolonged Exposure as the treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and CE credits will be offered.

The first day will be lecture format where information about Prolonged Exposure as a treatment modality for PTSD will be discussed.
