Honoring Those Who’Ve Turned Trials Into Triumphs

PITTSBURGH, PA (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — G.O girls Inc, a nonprofit organization that provides services for young women who have transitioned out of foster care in to adulthood will host their first annual awards ceremony on March 30, 2019 at 6140 Station Street, Pittsburgh PA 15206. The “On Your Mark, Get Set, G.O! Awards” will honor G.O girls participants and community members from Pittsburgh and surrounding areas, who have turned trials in to triumphs. The sixteen (16) Men and women being honored have all experienced the trials and tribulations that life brings. But, with their strength and resilience they all have managed to overcome their challenges. “We are honored to be able to present awards to 16 of Pittsburgh’s strongest. Each honoree has had a unique experience that has help to shape and mold them into the great individuals they are presently.” Said Brettney Duck, the founding Executive Director of G.O girls Inc. She then decided to change the focus of G.O girls to a population who had a greater need.
