 COMMUNITY LIVER ALLIANCE HOLDS 7TH ANNUAL STEEL CHEF CHALLENGE WITH A VIRTUAL TWIST
 
 
PITTSBURGH, PA (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — The Community Liver Alliance (CLA) is holding their 7th Annual Steel Chef Challenge, with a virtual twist. The Steel Chef Challenge will be held on Saturday, October 17 and will “Bring the Guest to the Chef”. Guests will experience a unique socially distant meet and greet with their assigned chef and pick up their gourmet 3-course dinner and dining accoutrements including wine, menu cards, flowers, and reheating instruction from your chefs, to go. The Annual Culinary Gala will be enjoyed in the comfort of the guest’s home while the virtual program broadcast live from the Wyndham Grand Hotel. The program will celebrate our Liver Patient Champions, as well as our community Culinary Champions who have been among the hardest hit financially during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The CLA is honored to feature 11 local participating Champion Chefs & establishments, two of which are newly opening right here in Pittsburgh – including two-time James Beard Foundation semifinalist Jamilka Borges’s Wild Child and Cory Hughes’ Fig & Ash!
