Laughing in the Face of Cancer Comedy Event

Pittsburgh, PA (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — This evening will include a comedic contest of 13 amateur comics competing for the Fourth Annual Crowning of Pittsburgh’s Funniest Comic.  The host and emcee for the evening is WDVE’s own Randy Baumann.  Judging the contest are KISS FM Freak Show’s Mikey, WPXI Sports Director Alby Oxenreiter, and KDKA News Anchor Susan Koeppen.  Closing the evening will include musical performance by Bon Journey.  This evening of raising money and awareness for Gilda’s Club Western PA will occur at Diesel in the South Side on Friday, June 22.  Doors open at 6:00pm and the show will begin at 6:30pm.  Admission is $10 and all proceeds benefit GCWP.  This event will contribute to an ongoing 6mo campaign of GCWPA’s Faces Campaign…Don’t miss this great evening!
