With the love and support of so many friends and family, we hope you will join us! This year, we are opening our doors, safely and prudently (masks and social distancing are required), for our annual fundraising event! We hope our Pittsburgh family and Allegheny County community will come and learn the story of the Neighborhood Resilience Project and how your support continues to make a positive impact in the lives of so many in our community!
To Register to join us for The Journey of Hope and Resilience, please visit: http://bit.ly/NRP_Tour and pick the day you can come. Tours begin at 6:00pm.
WHO WE ARE
The mission of the Neighborhood Resilience Project is to support the transformation of neighborhoods from trauma-affected communities to resilient, healing, and healthy communities through Trauma-Informed Community Development.
The mission of the Neighborhood Resilience Project is to support the transformation of neighborhoods from trauma-affected communities to resilient, healing, and healthy communities through Trauma-Informed Community Development.
This work is accomplished through three program areas:
- Community Support – providing food, clothing, and emergency relief to communities.
- Health and Well-Being – offering our Free Health Center, Micro-Community Interventions; deploying the Trauma Response Team – to provide on-site support to communities in the aftermath of gun violence; running our Community Health Deputy program created in response to COVID-19 to help communities be and remain safe. To learn more about the Community Health Deputy Program outlined in this recent N.Y. Times article click here: https://nyti.ms/2JFrRGd
- Leadership Development – Educating communities here and around the country about Volunteer Trauma Responders and Community Health Deputies; teaching and training cohorts from across the nation in the Trauma-Informed Community Development Framework to empower communities and develop leadership in local communities.
Pick your day in November, sign up, and join us in our work to empower and develop resilient, healing, and healthy communities!
