PITTSBURGH SKI CLUB 75TH ANNIVERSARY HOLIDAY PARTY

Pittsburgh, PA (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — Pittsburgh Ski Club in celebration of 75 years of fun on and off the slopes kicks off the ski and holiday seasons with a holiday and anniversary party, Friday, December 7, 2012 @ the Embassy Suites Hotel, Coraopolis, PA. The event is open to all past and present ski club members, and the general public. The evening starts at 6:30 with cocktails and music, followed by a sit down dinner, and ending the evening with dancing.

The Pittsburgh Ski Club was founded on the evening of December 10, 1937, by three avid skiers Bill Albert, Al Black, and Lars Eckwurtzel as non-profit organization to encourage skiing through instruction, ski trips, and racing programs. The club is the second oldest ski club in Pennsylvania, and has a current membership of over 400 active adults and children. We even have members as far away as Florida and Colorado.

Today, the PSC offers year-round activities for its members and guests. The emphasis is not only on skiing/snowboarding but on a variety of sporting activities (biking, golfing, volleyball) and travel and social events. On Monday, December 10, 2012, the Club begins the year long countdown to the Clubs 75th Anniversary.
