New Truck Hitting The Streets! Tu Mangi Food Truck!

PITTSBURGH, PA, June 17, 2022 (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — There’s a new way to eat pizza in Pittsburgh. It’s called a “wedgie” and it’s the main specialty of the Tu Mangi Truck that is launching in Millvale this Summer. What’s a wedgie? We think this delicious equation explains it best:

 

Pizza + Taco = Tu Mangi

 

It’s made from fresh, pizza-like ingredients folded up and served in the shape of a taco. Soon to be favorites include the Stuffed Pepper with crumbled Italian sausage with fresh Mozzarella topped with pickled hot banana peppers and homemade marinara sauce on white flour dough. And also the simply-named Pizza Taco with fresh mozzarella, basil, pepperoni, and homemade pizza sauce on white flour dough.

 

The name “Tu Mangi” is Italian for “You Eat”, and is appropriately descriptive. The Tu Mangi menu consists of unique wedgies ranging from savory to sweet, along with pizza rolls, zeppole’s, and an even larger catering menu with pasta, pizzas, salads and vegetable medleys. Created by Rocco Levine and Richard Pine, the truck will serve lunch, dinner, and late night meals throughout the greater Pittsburgh area.

 

The Tu Mangi food truck will launch June 24th, 2022 in Millvale, PA at 624 North Ave, 15209 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The truck will begin to roam around the city, at local food truck locations which you will find on their Instagram and Facebook.
