Mýa, a critical and commercial success, released her self-titled, double-platinum debut album in 1998. Mýa’s first album produced top ten singles, It’s All About Me (featuring Sisqó), Ghetto Supastar (featuring Pras), and Take Me There from the Nickelodeon Rugrats Movie Soundtrack.

Fear of Flying, Mýa’s second album, was released in 2000 and became a worldwide success with singles Case of the Ex and Free. Other chart-topping hits include The Best of Me (featuring Jadakiss and Jay-Z), My Love Is Like…Wo, and Lock U Down (featuring Lil Wayne).

Mýa continued her rise to prominence in 2002 when she won her first Grammy Award for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals for Lady Marmalade with Pink, Christina Aguilera, Missy Elliott, and Lil’ Kim. Her musical catalog includes eight studio albums, over twenty-eight singles, seventeen soundtrack appearances, and thirty music videos. Mýa has sold over 3.2 million albums in the United States and 7 million albums worldwide.

As one of the oldest Black Pride celebrations in the United States, Pittsburgh Black Pride has provided entertainment, social information, and health education to Black LGBTQIA+ individuals and families throughout greater Pittsburgh and Southwest Pennsylvania for over 27 years.

Doors open at 6:00 pm. Showtime begins at 7:00 pm. Tickets can be purchased online by visiting the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust website at TrustArts.org or by calling the box office at (412) 456-6666.
