Join Impact Christian Church as they FALL into FUN at their annual MEGA Fall Festival!

PITTSBURGH, PA (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — Impact Christian Church in Moon Township is hosting their annual MEGA Fall Festival on Monday October 24th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at their community center, The Landing.  The Landing is located at 330 Hookstown Grade Road in Moon Township, PA 15108 in the old Airport Ice Arena building.

 

At this FREE public event, attendees can expect a fun-filled evening with games, candy, giveaways, music, costumes, hot air balloon rides, and much more that the entire community will enjoy! In past years, The Landing and Impact Christian Church have seen more than 1,500+ visitors who have chosen to attend this one-night event. Missy Harris, Impact’s Event Director said, “This is one of my favorite events of the year that we host at The Landing because we see so many new faces and great costumes each year!”

 

Spearheaded by generous volunteers and Impact church members, they are excited to open their 50,000 square foot facility to the community and families throughout the area. At Impact Christian Church, building a relationship with the community is an important part of much of what they do as an organization. They see the MEGA Fall Festival as just another means to fulfilling their mission of building community, sharing hope, and pursuing God.

 

In preparation for a building filled with families looking to have a good and safe experience, Impact Christian Church leadership and key volunteers have been planning this event for several months. “We’re so excited for this year’s event as each year we see more and more people join us to celebrate the fun of the season,” said Jessica Kennedy, Children’s Ministry Director for Impact, who is organizing this year’s event.

 

The Impact Christian Church family has been collecting candy donations for several weeks and have already collected more than 20,000 pieces of candy for the event. Many prizes will also be given out to those that attend and participate in the festival.  In addition to all the fun guests will have, there are three opportunities to win larger door prizes. Impact’s MEGA Fall Festival will be giving away two bicycles and a family four-pack of tickets to Sky Zone, the well-known indoor trampoline park where the rules of gravity are made to be broken!

 

Families who attend the event are encouraged to participate in games, crafts, dance to the music, visit creative specially themed areas, and make memories on the indoor inflatables, before heading outside for hot air balloon rides! “This event is always a lot of fun for the entire family. We look forward to attending each year and are always excited for the new things the event will feature,” commented Paula Barkin, a Moon Township resident and grandmother of four-year-old Zoey Barkin.

 

Impact is hopeful that everyone will plan on helping to make this year’s MEGA Fall Festival the largest yet! Planning to come early is a good idea as some of the larger attractions will begin closing at 7:00 pm.
