13 LOCAL SERVANT LEADERS HONORED FOR “PAYING IT FORWARD” 
Outstanding Changemakers Receive Highest Honor for Volunteerism
 
 
PITTSBURGH, PA, May 25, 2023 (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — Multiplying Good Pittsburgh is pleased to announce that its Spring 2023 Class of Pittsburgh ChangeMakers graduated on May 18, 2023, as Jefferson Award recipients. ChangeMakers are professionals who’ve demonstrated a commitment to volunteerism, servant leadership, and a desire to act as role models to local youth in order to cultivate a culture of kindness to others by “Paying It Forward.”  Upon successful completion of the 16-week program that began on January 26, 2023, these outstanding individuals joined the ranks of national public figures recognized by Multiplying Good with the prestigious Jefferson Award – the country’s highest honor for service and volunteerism, and honorees. Multiplying Good is pleased to announce the Spring 2023 Pittsburgh Jefferson Award recipients:

The Spring 2023 Class of Pittsburgh ChangeMakers worked both individually and as a cohort to raise awareness and financial support for Students In Action – Multiplying Good’s flagship service-learning and leadership development program that serves teens in the ten county greater Pittsburgh region, and across the country. Honorees also participated in volunteer, community, professional development, and networking activities while inspiring even more young leaders to help others.
 
According to Jodi Klebick Executive Director, Multiplying Good Pennsylvania, “These local Jefferson Award honorees join a storied group of American heroes whose dedication to service has inspired others to lead, including notable figures such as Justice Sonia Sotomayor, athletes Venus Williams, Larry Fitzgerald, and Billie Jean King, and individuals such as Lauren Bush Lauren, Oprah Winfrey. Those receiving the prestigious Jefferson Award are not only empowered to do more, but their stories continue to ignite a spirit of service in others.”
