50over50 PROJECT SPOTLIGHTS PITTSBURGH’S MOST DYNAMIC WOMEN

PITTSBURGH, PA, August 31, 2023 (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — Pittsburgh photographer Tracy Montarti of Villa Montarti Portrait Studio announces the 50over50 Project featuring 50 women over 50 at a gallery exhibition event on November 10.

 

The 50over50 Project focuses on the strength, wisdom, and beauty of women who are over 50 and celebrates their stories. Having a beautiful portrait is just the beginning – the opportunity to share their stories is the focus. Montarti is creating a magazine that will include all 50 women, their portrait, and their story. “Everyone has a story. Maybe it’s overcoming a health challenge, leaving a difficult relationship, changing careers, or becoming an empty nester,” she stated. “Underneath all the stories is a common theme of transition and declaration of ‘It’s MY turn now.’ and stepping forward to have an impact and claim the life they want.”

 

The gallery exhibition will take place at 3rd Street Gallery on Friday, November 10 in an open house style gala, open to the public, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Registration is required, and the event is expected to sell out. A portion of the ticket sales will go to Face2Face Healing, a nonprofit created to support individuals dealing with cancer or conditions that have caused an altered self-image through outreach, advocacy, interaction, and education.
