Integrative Mental Health (IMH) is a global vision shared a worldwide network of researchers, practitioners, educators, and others to bring together the wisdom of world healing traditions and modern science in the treatment of mental illness.
Leading this movement is the International Network of Integrative Mental Health. Following this lead, Gusky has recently transformed her practice with a new team, new services, and new location.
Among the treatment options now available are traditional mental health counseling, bodywork for emotional healing, energy healing, mindfulness practice and education, art and music therapy, and spiritual counseling. Each facet of the new treatment model is conducted by licensed and certified professionals.
How do clients tap into the deeply buried issues and origins of emotional, psychological, and behavioral problems? They can do it perhaps more readily, with more clarity, with less anxiety, and greater self-awareness when problems are approached holistically. We are all thinking, feeling, physical, and spiritual beings. It is only reasonable, that health problems should be approached with an understanding of each of these aspects of our humanity.
Together with the new service model, upcoming programs and events also are being scheduled, including:
Bodywork for Emotional Healing (Demonstration); Learning and Understanding Past Life Regression Therapy; Mindfulness Practices and Exercises for Everyday Living; An Evening with Psychic Medium Marjorie Rivera; All About Healing with Reiki; When Your Child Has Spontaneous Past Life Memories; Using Music Therapy and Mandala Art to Unlock the Self; Stressed! How can I Even Think about Meditating.
Gusky’s practice still maintains a strong emphasis on therapy for grief and bereavement, including prenatal and infant death. Support groups and other grief related programs are also in the works.
