JAMESTOWN REVIVAL TO HEADLINE EXCITING FREE SUMMER CONCERT SERIES LAUNCH AT ALLEGHENY RIVERTRAIL PARK’S NEW RIVERSIDE DECK – JUNE 8

ASPINWALL, PA, June 5, 2024 (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — Allegheny RiverTrail Park is excited to announce that Jamestown Revival will perform a special acoustic set to kick off the park’s Free Summer Concert Series, made possible by the generous support of the Short Family Foundation. This highly anticipated event will take place on Saturday, June 8, at 7:00 PM on the park’s new riverside deck, offering stunning views of the Allegheny River and the Highland Park Bridge.

This concert marks the beginning of the summer series and will be part of a day-long celebration for the grand opening of new parkland at Allegheny RiverTrail Park. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities showcasing the expanded space, culminating in Jamestown Revival’s performance in the evening.

Jamestown Revival (Jonathan Clay & Zach Chance) is an Americana band from Austin, TX. They have performed at iconic music festivals, including ACL, Coachella, and Lollapalooza, and alongside the likes of The Avett Brothers, Ryan Bingham, Brandi Carlile, and Willie Nelson. They have released four critically acclaimed albums (Utah, The Education Of A Wandering Man, San Isabel, Young Man) and two equally praised EPs (A Field Guide To Loneliness, Fireside With Louis L’Amour).

“We are incredibly excited to have Jamestown Revival as the kickoff band for our Summer Concert Series,” said Dave Short, Allegheny RiverTrail Park Board Member and summer concert series organizer. “Their acoustic performance, set against the beautiful Allegheny River, promises to be an unforgettable experience for our community. We are honored to support this event and to continue our commitment to support Allegheny RiverTrail Park and bringing people together for memorable summer evenings of music along the river.”

The new riverside deck, where the concert will be held, is part of the park’s recent expansion. It is designed to provide an intimate and scenic setting for various events throughout the year. With the Allegheny River and the historic Highland Park Bridge as the backdrop, it offers a unique and picturesque venue that enhances the concert experience.

The Free Summer Concert Series at Allegheny RiverTrail Park aims to bring the community together through music and outdoor enjoyment. Following Jamestown Revival’s performance, the series will continue with a lineup of diverse and talented artists, offering something for everyone.
