Celebrate the vibrant heartbeat of Pittsburgh’s dance scene at Pittsburgh Dance Workshop!

Featuring performances by Bodiography, The Pillow Project, Confluence Ballet Co., Shana Simmons Dance, slowdanger, D.A.N.A Movement Ensemble, Get Down Dang, Anthony Alterio, Ebony Cunningham, and Joanna Schmidt, each showcase highlights original works that reflect creativity, technical excellence, and the transformative power of dance as a tool for community expression.

Each evening will conclude with a casual post-show conversation between the audience and artists, offering a space to reflect, ask questions, and connect beyond the stage.

About the Program & Choreographers
Pittsburgh Dance Workshop (PDW) is a vibrant hub for movement, creativity, and community dedicated to uniting and uplifting Pittsburgh’s diverse dance community. Founded in 2025, PDW offers a week-long summer dance intensive designed for pre-professional and professional dancers ages 16+ and up. The program provides rigorous training, professional development opportunities, and dynamic performance platforms, fostering an environment where dancers can refine their artistry, expand their versatility, and connect with fellow artists. Culminating the week, Pittsburgh Dance Workshop Showcase will celebrate our vibrant dance community with original works of artists and companies from across the city of Pittsburgh.
