Bethany Hospice of Western Pennsyvlania  to celebrate its fifth anniversary on January 14, 2010.  Company recognized with multiple awards in the past year. 
 
Pittsburgh, PA (PittsburghNewsWire.com) —  Bethany Hospice  Services of Western Pennsylvania will celebrate the fifth anniversary of its licensure on January 14, 2010.  Founded by local hospice professionals who wanted to provide the highest level of end of life care to those in their own community, the company has grown from a small startup operation to the premier hospice provider in Western Pennsylvania.“It’s hard to believe how fast the time has gone by” says company President and CEO Diane Mead.  “We have been unbelievably blessed to be able to serve our patients in the community over the last five years.”

Over the past twelve months, Ms. Mead was honored as one of The Best 50 Business Women in Pennsylvania, and Bethany Hospice was recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in Western Pennsylvania.  Additionally, the company sponsored a fund raiser for the KDKA Turkey Fund which resulted in over $15,000 being donated to the cause.
