Pittsburgh, PA (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — Dawn Lilly, President & CEO of Charity by Dawn Lilly and Executive Director & Founder of Project Evolution and Alley Rohm, Owner of Dig Clothing and Assistant Director of Project Evolution in collaboration with Faded Industry, City Scene Live, Dig Clothing and many other designers and artists, will hold Project Evolution II on January 25th, 2014 at 7PM at the Carnegie Music Hall in Carnegie, PA.Project Evolution is a yearly theater event where the underground community of young professionals in fashion and music collectively evolve the talents and skills of artists, models and related industry professionals into a gift that benefits the lives of others. As a community, Project Evolution, entails a massive nearly 200 behind the scenes volunteers donating their services and collaborating to create this fund-raising event. Named Project Evolution as the community comes together and rises in unity on this collaborative project to become a voice and raise awareness for homelessness.According to a 2009 report published by the National Center on Family Homelessness, 43,103 children were identified as homeless in Pennsylvania, numbers that have increased since then. “To put it in perspective, that’s enough to fill a stadium” says Dawn Lilly. In Allegheny County, there are 1400 children reported as being homeless (on any given day). These are alarming numbers and Project Evolution is designed to not only raise funds but raise awareness with an entire community promoting this project.Project Evolution II has an impressive line-up of local Pittsburgh artists.
