September 5, 6, & 7, 2014 – Riverplex at Sandcastle
The Festival explores the culture and heritage of Ireland through three days of traditional and contemporary Irish music & dancing, Irish foods, an authentic Irish marketplace, children’s activities, Irish Dog Area, instrument demonstrations and cultural workshops. Highlights include performances by Scythian, Screaming Orphans, POGEY, The Willis Clan, Makem and Spain, Moxie, Socks in the Frying Pan, Matt and Shannon Heaton, local favorites Corned Beef & Curry, The Wild Geese, Bastard Bearded Irishmen, and more! This year, the Irish Festival welcomes Celtic acts hailing from Ireland, Canada and the United States, bringing a truly International flavor. Other programming includes a traditional Irish Mass celebrated on Sunday, step-dance performances, Irish language workshops, and whiskey and cider tastings.

A $5 admission will be offered on Friday ages 13+ from 4pm-6pm, and a $5 admission will be offered on Friday from 6-8pm to students with a college ID.
