JAZZ GARCELLE PROVIDES “MUSIC THERAPY” FOR SURVIVORS
PITTSBURGH, PA (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — Indie music artist Jazz Garcelle hopes to raise $10,000 to produce, record, promote and market her debut EP “Music Therapy: 1st Prescription” through a GoFundMe Campaign, gofund.me/JazzGarcelleDEBUT, that will launch July 28th, 2016.
The ambitious Garcelle couldn’t wait to bless the world with her voice as she was born three months early at a mere 1lb 12oz. The Pittsburgh singer is currently working on her debut album and she’s putting everything she has into it and more.
The rewards from the crowdfunding campaign are just as intimate as a Jazz Garcelle concert. This first dose is an introduction to her as a fighter because she’s been fighting all her life to be heard. She had a blood clot in her right leg and was diagnosed with Deep Vein Thrombosis. Her perseverance proves even when the odds are stacked against her the Point Park alumni continues to sing and refuses to be silenced.
She’s performed at venues such as New Hazlett Theater to the August Wilson Center, performing the National Anthem for Pittsburgh Golden Gloves boxing matches, Hard Rock Cafe and Club Café and just like her previous struggles, nothing can stop her from being heard from beyond the Pittsburgh scene. 2013 cemented her spot in the Pittsburgh music scene as she was nominated for Pittsburgh Underground Music Award.
“I’m not going to go knocking on doors, what I present will have them calling me,” the singer confidently boasts about her powerful voice and how much of herself she is putting in her debut EP  with every note in every performance, Garcelle leaves her emotions on the stage with her.
This debut release is bigger than Garcelle’s music—it’s about a movement. She lives and breathes all things music and she strives to entertain and inspire young girls or anyone who’s been through a struggle. Garcelle’s music is about giving a voice to the survivors. This project isn’t just for Jazz because she has big dreams to start her own women’s empowerment foundation and organize performing arts events for Pittsburgh youth.
Jazz Garcelle is a local Pittsburgh independent musician seeking a national or local management company for representation. Please contact Jazz Garcelle at [JazzGarcelleMusic@gmail.com ] for interviews or questions in regards to her debut album.
