Sounds of Pittsburgh Chorus Goes to International Competition
Pittsburgh, PA (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — The Sounds of Pittsburgh Chorus is headed to Nashville, TN to compete with championship choruses from around the world at the Sweet Adelines International Competition from October 20-24, 2009. Leading the chorus is Director Denny Price from West Middlesex, PA. Chorus members are women of all ages throughout the tri-state area. Along with annual competition within Region 17 (parts of PA, OH, MI and IN) the chorus has performed locally for Kennywood Park, Sewickley Light Up Night, PNC Park and First Night Pittsburgh.
The chorus hold weekly rehearsals on Mondays at Coraopolis United Methodist Church, 1205 Ridge Avenue, Coraopolis, PA 15108.
