The festival will feature traditional German fest bands such as “The Barons”, and The Polkameisters on Saturday afternoon. There will also be a performance of the Alpen Schuhplattlers, an authentic Alpine Dance Group, on Friday evening.  Original German food such as Bratwurst, Roast Fest Chicken, Apple Strudel, Hot Soft Pretzels, and more will be available. German Beer will be on tap, featuring Hacker Pschorr Munich Gold Lager, Wheat Beer, Dunkel (dark) Beer and of course, Oktoberfest Beer! In addition, IC Light and Pumpkin Ale will be on tap.  Wine, seltzers, and non-alcoholic beverages will also be available. A large tent in the lower parking lot off Phineas Street (visible from East Ohio Street) seats hundreds of guests, with space for dancing—keeping the festival open rain or shine.
