MELISSA TALLY NAMED GLOBAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND FUNDING LEAD AT ABRAM’S NATION

GIBSONIA, PA, July 6, 2026 (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — Abram’s Nation is pleased to announce the appointment of Melissa (Missy) Tally, PT, MPT, ATP, as its new Global Business Development and Funding Specialist, where she will lead strategic initiatives to expand international partnerships, strengthen market development, and advance funding solutions that improve access to innovative assistive technology worldwide.

Missy brings nearly three decades of leadership spanning clinical practice, assistive technology, education, sales management, and healthcare advocacy. Throughout her career, she has built a reputation for combining clinical expertise with strategic business development to improve outcomes for individuals with complex mobility and rehabilitation needs.

Most recently, Missy served as an executive at a medical device and healthcare equipment distributor where she led the company’s strategic growth, managed national sales operations, collaborated with international suppliers, and provided evidence-based clinical education to healthcare professionals, independent representatives, and customers across the United States. Under her leadership, the organization expanded its market presence.

Prior to her corporate role, Missy spent more than 24 years at The Perlman Center at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, serving as Senior Physical Therapist, Clinical Coordinator, and Assistive Technology Specialist. During her tenure, she became a nationally recognized expert in complex rehabilitation technology, pediatric mobility, seating and positioning, adaptive transportation, and multidisciplinary care. She developed innovative clinical programs, mentored clinicians and students, and served as a trusted consultant for healthcare providers, schools, community organizations, and families.

Missy earned both her Master of Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Health Science, graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Kentucky. She has been a certified Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) through RESNA since 2011 and remains an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and other professional organizations dedicated to advancing rehabilitation and assistive technology.

Missy has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed articles, textbook chapters, and clinical publications focused on complex rehabilitation technology, pediatric mobility, seating and positioning, documentation, and adaptive transportation.

In her new role as Global Business Development and Funding Specialist, Missy will leverage her extensive clinical knowledge, leadership experience, and international industry relationships to develop strategic partnerships, expand global market opportunities, navigate funding pathways, and help ensure that innovative rehabilitation technologies become more accessible to clinicians and individuals worldwide.

“Missy is a respected educator and thought leader, and is passionate about patient advocacy,” said Abram’s Nation President Rose Morris. “Abram’s Nation delivers life-changing products and compassionate customer care, and Missy brings deep assistive technology experience in line with our mission and values. We’re thrilled that Missy will be playing a key role in our strategic growth.”
