Gethsemane Ministries Announces Sensory Room Availability for Therapy Sessions

PITTSBURGH, PA (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — Professional therapists and service organizations are invited to utilize the only Public Sensory Room of its kind in the Pittsburgh area. Never before has there been a place where the general public can experience the tranquility and unique benefits a sensory room has to offer in a public setting.

 

Improving mental health is the first step in improving physical health and well-being.

 

Sensory rooms are recognized internationally for the relief of challenges associated with mental and physical health such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, autism, dementia, and many other issues and serve as a conduit for relaxation and spiritual renewal.

 

A sensory room open house at Gethsemane Ministries will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., to introduce the sensory room to professional therapists and services.

 

The sensory room at Gethsemane Ministries will be the first of its kind in the Pittsburgh area to offer scheduled room sessions for professional use beginning in June 2022.
