THE IOTA PHI FOUNDATION HOSTS THEIR 29TH ANNUAL ACHIEVEMENT DINNER
Iota Phi Achievement Dinner recognizes local students with scholarships and community leaders with awards – November 18th at Rivers Casino
 
 
PITTSBURGH, PA, November 17, 2023 (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — The Iota Phi Foundation in partnership with the Iota Phi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. hosts their 29th Annual Achievement Dinner on November 18, 2023 at Rivers Casino (Event Center). Dinner at 6:00 PM and Awards at 6:45 PM.  The purpose of the event is to celebrate the accomplishments of African Americans in their respective fields and their exemplary service to the community. It is also a time to celebrate talented local graduating high school seniors and support their aspirations by providing them with scholarships. 
 
The local students that will be receiving Scholarships are:
Evan Allen, Pittsburgh Science & Technology Academy
Zaire Dinkins, Mt. Lebanon High School
Nia Hart, Plum Senior High School
Malynn Jones, Pittsburgh Obama Academy of International Studies
Patrick Livsey, Central Catholic High School
 
The professionals receiving Exemplary Service Awards are:
Business: Ernest Groover Jr., ProTech Compliance Inc.
Education: Gretchen, Generett, PhD., Duquesne University
Education: William Generett Jr, JD., Duquesne University
Medicine: Tracey D. Conti, MD., University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine/UPMC
Community Advocacy: Marimba Milliones, Hill Community Development Corporation
Humanitarian: Pastor Brian James Edmonds, Macedonia Church of Pittsburgh
Emerging Leader: Nelson Cooper, PNC Bank
