PITTSBURGH FAITH-HEALER BIOPIC SHOOTING THIS SUMMER – CASTING CALL FOR LOCAL WOMEN

PITTSBURGH PA, April 20, 2026 (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — Pittsburgh’s spiritual history is about to be celebrated on the big screen with Heaven’s Dance, a biopic about Kathryn Kuhlman, one of America’s most renowned and controversial faith healers of the 1970s. Production is set to begin this summer in Pittsburgh, and filmmakers are actively seeking Pittsburgh-based women to portray Kathryn Kuhlman at different stages of her life.

Heaven’s Dance is written by Pittsburgh native Richard Rossi—who developed the screenplay as part of his MFA in Screenwriting from the David Lynch School of Cinematic Arts. Mentored by filmmaker David Lynch, Rossi brings a unique cinematic vision to tell the story of Kathryn Kuhlman, a woman whose divine gift for healing was rooted in her Pittsburgh upbringing.
