PITTSBURGH’S LARGEST WOMEN-IN-TECH CONFERENCE RETURNS THIS NOVEMBER, SEEKS SPEAKERS AND SPONSORS
Annual event invites technology leaders, employers, students, and innovators to help shape the future of women in technology.
PITTSBURGH, PA, August 12, 2026 (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — As getWITit Pittsburgh celebrates 10 years of advancing women in technology, the organization today announced that registration is open for WITCON 2026, Pittsburgh’s largest conference focused on women in technology and their allies. Returning on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, the conference will bring together technology professionals, executives, entrepreneurs, students, educators, and allies for a full day of learning, networking, and professional development.
For the past decade, getWITit Pittsburgh has worked to strengthen the region’s technology community through professional development programs, networking opportunities, mentorship, and leadership initiatives designed to support women throughout their technology careers.
In addition to attendee registration, getWITit is actively seeking speakers and sponsors to help shape this year’s conference. Speaker applications are open through August 31, 2026, and organizations interested in supporting the event can explore sponsorship opportunities that connect them with one of the region’s most engaged technology communities.
Last year’s conference welcomed over 200 attendees and the goal this year is to exceed that and showcase 16 speakers and 2 keynotes, representing organizations across technology, healthcare, finance, manufacturing, education, government, and entrepreneurship. Organizers expect this year’s event to continue building on that momentum as Pittsburgh’s technology ecosystem expands and employers increasingly invest in attracting, developing, and retaining diverse technology talent.
WITCON features keynote presentations, educational breakout sessions, leadership discussions, professional development opportunities, networking experiences, and conversations centered on emerging technologies, innovation, career growth, and the future of work.
