3,000+ GATHER TO RAISE MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS AT 10TH ANNUAL NAMIWALKS
HOMESTEAD, PA (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — Even though one in five people will experience a mental illness this year, more than half of them will not seek treatment because of the stigma attached to living with a mental illness.

On Sunday, Oct. 2, more than three thousand people affected by mental illness will gather at the Waterfront of Homestead for a 5K walk along the Great Allegheny Passage to raise awareness about mental health and eliminate the stigma associated with mental illness.
