EPIC CAT FORT UNDERWAY IN TARENTUM
Request for Volunteers and Event Announcement
TARENTUM, PA (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — When Phillip Rhodes bought the historic St. Clement Church and school in Tarentum, the possibilities were endless: a huge, empty building that, with a little love, could be transformed for nearly any purpose. After some thought, Phillip decided to do what any cat-loving person with 43K square feet of empty space would do: create the biggest baddest cat fort ever!

“The Epic Cat Fort isn’t just a big idea–of course we want to build the most biggest cat fort ever–but we also want to unite the community, find homes for cats from local shelters, introduce The Clement as an event venue to the Greater Pittsburgh area, and just maybe start a trend of transforming spaces like this one into areas where communities can come together,” he explained.

With the help of organizations like Animal Friends, Construction Junction, and the local historical society, Phillip plans to fill the space with this huge cat fort built and decorated entirely by volunteers and local artists. The Epic Cat Fort event and grand reveal will take place on March 15th at the Clement.
