PITTSBURGH DAD CHRISTMAS SPECIAL COMES TO WPXI-TV
Pittsburgh Dad, the Internet source of laughter for thousands of Pittsburghers, is coming to television
Pittsburgh, PA (PittsburghNewsWire.com) WPXI-TV will help Pittsburgh Dad spread his unique wisdom and advice on dealing with the Holiday Season in a half hour special, Pittsburgh Dad’s Guide to Christmas, airing December 19th at 7:30pm on Channel 11.

The hilarious program, hosted by WQED’s Rick Sebak, will be a compilation of scenes from “Dad’s” favorite and most popular online episodes as well as the world premiere of his 2014 Christmas episode.  “It’s 30 minutes of fun that is sure to make “Dad” fans howl and have first time “Dad” viewers thrilled they’ve finally met Pittsburgh’s favorite dad”, said Mark Barash, WPXI-TV Program Director.

Viewers can expect to hear “Dad” sound off on Christmas traditions such as, opening presents on Christmas morning, putting tree lights up, playing Santa for the kids, and waxing poetic about that cute little star and tree in the Eat’n Park Christmas commercial.

The very popular Pittsburgh Dad online episodes have garnered over 19 million views since they debuted on the web in 2011.
The program will re-air on WPXI on December 21st at 2pm, as well as on PCNC on December 21st at 9pm, ME-TV on December 22nd at 9pm, WQED on Christmas Day at 7:30pm and streamed live on wpxi.com.
