COMMUNITY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND RED CARPET EVENT FOR
SPECIAL NEEDS TEENS AND ADULTS

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — In less than a week, nearly 170 special needs teens and adults will walk the red carpet at the Marriott in Cranberry Woods for the Third Annual “A Night to Remember.” The community is encouraged to attend this spectacular event and support all the guests in attendance.

The red carpet event, which begins on April 24 at 6 p.m., kicks off the fun-filled, top-notch evening catered to those with special needs, between the ages of 16-40.

Guests will arrive via limo at the front door at the Marriott and step onto the red carpet where parents, friends, family and paparazzi will greet them.

“This is their moment to shine,” said Bryan Gratton, Adult Ministry Pastor at Discovery Christian Church. “Each guest has been treated to free formal wear, donated by the community and Tuxedo Junction, as well as pre-dance primping by Paul Mitchell Academy,” Gratton said. “Everyone looks glamorous! The ladies love to twirl their gowns and the guys sometimes dance or strut down the carpet. It’s amazing!”

This is the third year Tuxedo Junction and Paul Mitchell have donated their services and time for this unique occasion.

“We are welcoming he community to come out and witness the red carpet affair,” said Gratton. “It gives everyone a glimpse of what the whole evening is about and why we put so much time into organizing it,” he continued. “It’s also a testament as to why every year this event has grown so much and community businesses and organizations continue to support “A Night to Remember.”

If you plan on attending the event, Gratton recommends that you arrive 20-30 minutes early to allow ample time to park and arrive around the red carpet. “Anyone who has ever been to the red carpet can tell you about the joy they’ve experienced watching theses incredible folk,” Gratton said. “I see so many tears of joy from onlookers. Their perspective definitely changes.”

“A Night to Remember” is hosted and organized by Discovery Christian Church of Cranberry and fully supported by businesses and organization throughout Cranberry and the Pittsburgh areas.
