PITTSBURGH MUSICIANS GAINING NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL ATTENTION WITH LOCAL LABEL/PR FIRM

PITTSBURGH, PA (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — Pittsburgh-based musicians Brady Novotny, John Vento, Matt Westin and The Vics are all taking their craft to the next level. Each artist has been receiving national and international press, radio, charting and industry recognition. Their common denominator: MTS Management Group. The Apollo-based Publicity and Promotions firm, and record label, has been in the business of helping independent musicians succeed since March 2010.

Brady Novotny’s debut album, “Passions Collide” (produced by local legend David Granati) was released on the MTS Records label on February 14, 2019. Since the album’s release, the guitar virtuoso has been featured on major websites like Guitar Player Magazine and Jesus Freak Hideout. The lead single, “Redemption’s Cry” has received more than 2,000 Spotify streams, while charting on the national am/fm Airplay Today charts. Novotny is scheduled to appear on ABC and Fox affiliated TV stations across the state of PA.

John Vento released his latest album (also produced by Granati) on the MTS label in January 2019. In the 6 weeks since its release, the lead single, “Rainbows and Lightning” has racked up 25,000 Spotify streams, while reaching the Top 20 on the iTunes rock songs chart, and hitting the national am/fm Airplay Today charts. Vento has also appeared as an Emerging Artist in music industry bible, Billboard Magazine. Like Novotny, Vento has upcoming TV appearances scheduled to promote the release.

Matt Westin’s debut album, “Legacy” was initially released with MTS Records in January 2018. Produced by Pittsburgh music veteran Bryan Cole, the album has spawned three nationally charting radio hits, “Our Redneck of the Woods,” “Farm Town” and the current single, “You Leave Me No Choice.” The latter having received more than 45,000 Spotify streams since the album’s re-release in October 2018. Like Vento, Matt Westin has appeared in Billboard Magazine as an Emerging Artist. Westin has also appeared in Nashville Music Guide, Music Existence, Vents Magazine and many other publications.

The Vics are MTS’ latest local signing. The indie rock band (also produced by Cole) will be releasing 4 new singles in the next 4 months. Since signing with MTS a couple of weeks ago, their first new release “Fourth And Clay” has already hit the Airplay Today national am/fm charts. They have also begun to receive critical praise for their single and another, “Proud.” More press, appearances and promotions are planned for The Vics in the coming months.
