ASCE PITTSBURGH CELEBRATES 2019 CIVIL ENGINEERING AWARDS
 
Projects, Engineers, Students and Professionals to be Recognized
at Annual Celebration on February 15th
 
 
PITTSBURGH, PA (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — The Pittsburgh Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), is pleased to announce their 2019 Civil Engineering Award recipients. ASCE Pittsburgh Section will recognize projects, people, and employers for their excellence, achievements and contributions to the section and civil engineering practice in 2019. The Awards will be presented during the Engineers Week Awards Banquet on February 15, 2020, beginning at 5:00 pm at the Engineers Society of Western Pennsylvania, 337 Fourth Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15222. The ASCE Pittsburgh Section’s Student Awards Foundation will also be presenting five cash awards totaling $10,500 to students for the American Bridge Leadership Award, Italo V. (Ody) Mackin Achievement Award, and ASCE Achievement Awards, which recognize outstanding civil engineering students preparing to be future leaders of the profession. The Foundation presents cash awards through donations by American Bridge Company, Mackin Engineering Company, and the Section’s membership. Student winners will be announced during the event.
