POISE Foundation Scholarship Manager, Dr. Tchetchet Digbohou, Joins National Scholarship Provider Association Board of Directors
 
 
PITTSBURGH, PA (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — POISE Foundation is pleased to announce that Dr. Tchetchet Digbohou has been confirmed as a member of the National Scholarship Provider Association’s (NSPA) Board of Directors for a renewable 3-year term starting in January of 2021. 
 
Tchetchet Digbohou (pronounced chay’chay’ dig-bo-oo) is an educator, passionate educational adviser and a published author. As POISE Foundation’s Scholarship Manager, he oversees the entire portfolio of scholarship programs, designs new ones, and leads the foundation’s outreach to students, parents, community partners, high schools and college/universities. 
 
In his new role on the NSPA Board of Directors, Dr. Digbohou is now a part of North America’s premier organization dedicated to supporting the needs of professionals administering scholarships in colleges and universities, private/community foundations, and public charities as well as to advancing the collective impact of the scholarships they award. NSPA includes over 500 member-organizations from the United States, Canada, and the Bahamas which collectively provide 827,327 scholarships amounting to $4,275,054,382 (over 4 billion) each year. A part of their work includes coordinating The NSPA Annual Conference, which is the convergence of the scholarship industry bringing nearly 600 diverse scholarship funders together for three days of networking and learning.
 
NSPA Board Directors are the fiduciaries who steer the organization towards a sustainable future by determining strategic objectives, adopting sound, ethical, and legal governance and financial and risk management policies and practices.

More About Dr. Tchetchet Digbohou
Although Tchetchet spent some of his early career in Marketing and Supply Chain Management, he ended up embracing his true passion: education. A former EducationUSA student adviser with the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Education, Tchetchet worked for several years as a college faculty and as an independent recruiter and adviser for such organizations as ELS Educational Services and the California State university system. In 2017, he published “The Secret to Winning an International Scholarship”, a comprehensive guide to successfully applying for international scholarships based on his experience advising students and scholars looking for funding opportunities, the best practices learned from fellow scholarship advisers worldwide, and his own experience as a student.
 
In 2003, Tchetchet was awarded the prestigious Fulbright scholarship which enabled him to pursue a fully-funded Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) at the Monterey Institute for International Studies in California. Dr. Digbohou is also a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Education where he earned a Doctorate in Education with an emphasis on Social and Comparative Analysis. Tchetchet is engaged in K-12 and higher education as an independent scholar, public speaker and volunteer.
