Pittsburgh, PA (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — Afro American Music Institute — Summer Youth Intensive (SYI)
7131 Hamilton Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA  15208, July 9th-20th, 2012 from 9 AM to 3 PM.

Start the youth in your life off early with music! The Afro American Music Institute (AAMI) will be hosting at the AAMI facility, its annual 2-week Summer Youth Intensive for dedicated youth ages 8 to 12 years old.  The SYI offers music courses including Music Fundamentals, African Drumming and Dance, Vocals, Improvisation and Keyboards.  At the end of the 2 week Intensive there will be a student performance open for family, friends, and the community to come and enjoy.

Please call to register –Enrollment is limited! SYI Fees and tuition are $200 and there is a registration fee of $25.  There are also partial scholarships available for a limited time.
