Buffalo Blues Named a Finalist in ESPN’s “Best Sports Bar in America”

Pittsburgh, PA (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — Buffalo Blues, a Shadyside sports bar and part of the B2 Restaurant Group, has been selected as a finalist in ESPN Mobile’s nationwide search for the “Best Sports Bar in North America”.

This is the third consecutive year for the ESPN contest, which received 5,000 submissions. The ESPN judging panel narrowed the field of sports bars to twelve, which fans will now vote regionally for the ‘final four’. Buffalo Blues owner, Michael DiFiore, is grateful for the Pittsburgh fan who nominated the bar, “We are excited about this opportunity to show the nation the loyalty and enthusiasm of Black and Gold country”.

A winning sports bar is chosen by the judges through the “liveliest and most unique” fan nominations. Voting is live until Tuesday, October 2nd at 12:00pm E.T. The national winner will receive a Monday Night Football event sponsored by ESPN. The fan who submits the funniest, clean story has a chance to receive an ESPN prize pack.
