THOUSANDS EXPECTED TO ATTEND FREE EVENT.
January 25th – 27th / Now at 4 Locations
PITTSBURGH, PA (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — The 17th annual Projecting Hope Film Festival will be held at 4 Pittsburgh movie theaters on January 25th – 27th. The festival will showcase today’s top faith-focused films.
All showings are FREE to the public. Previous events have drawn over 5000 attendees.
Festival organizers believe that film can make a positive impact on people’s lives. “People from all walks of life are searching for hope and encouragement,” says director Scott Anderson. “The films presented at the event all contain a common thread of redemption. The stories shared are ones that deal with issues universal to humanity, and remind us that, despite all the difficulties of life, there is hope and beauty in this world.”
The 2019 festival features the best in faith-inspired entertainment & allows attendees to choose the $2500 “Audience Choice Award” for best movie from the past year. The festival closes out with exclusive advance screenings of films coming to theaters this year.
The festival is held at 4 select Pittsburgh area theaters:
