Pittsburgh Police Chief Larry Scirotto Will Throw First Pitch at Pirates Game Honoring Police Officers and Firefighters July 15

PITTSBURGH, PA, July 14, 2023 (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — Those who dedicate their lives to protecting the community are receiving a special thank you from Guardian Protection as it joins with the Pittsburgh Pirates to host Police and Firefighters Appreciation Night, Saturday, July 15 at PNC Park.  Among those cheering for the groups in attendance will be Pittsburgh Police Chief Larry Scirotto who has the honor of throwing out the first pitch.   

 

Approximately 2,000 tickets were given away by Guardian to local police officers and firefighters and their families. They’ll watch their hometown team take on the San Francisco Giants beginning at 7:05 p.m. and be treated to an amazing fireworks display following the game.
