SPIRITLIFE EXPANDS TREATMENT CAPACITY BY OPENING A NEW 54-BED INPATIENT RESIDENTIAL FACILITY IN CELEBRATION OF ITS 10TH ANNIVERSARY

PENN RUN, PA, September 30, 2025 (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — On Saturday October 11, 2025, in celebration of its 10th Anniversary, SpiritLife, Inc.(SL), a licensed drug and alcohol inpatient treatment center specializing in addictive and co-occurring disorders, will officially open the doors to a newly constructed and renovated residential  facility for adult men.  This state-of-the-art residence adds 54 beds, bringing SpiritLife’s total treatment capacity to 112 beds across its 200-acre campus.

To celebrate this milestone in our history, SL will be hosting an open house and annual alumni and recovery community picnic on its campus  (170 Fr. Martin Telenson Road, Penn  Run, PA 15765) on Saturday, October 11, 2025.  The Open House at Fr. George Hall will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with the annual picnic commencing at 12:00 noon and concluding at 4:00 p.m. Alumni of the SL program and their family members, supporters, recovery professionals, community leaders and the media are all cordially  invited to attend this momentous event that will feature tours of the new building, a sumptuous picnic and festive activities.

The opening of the new facility marks the successful completion of a $2 million capital expansion project that has been several years in development. With this expansion, SpiritLife is poised to help more individuals and families than ever before reclaim  their lives from addiction, mental health and other co-occurring challenges.  It will also provide for separate residential accommodations for adult men and women,  allowing for greater emphasis on gender-specific needs and focused care programs.

“This new facility, Fr. George Hall, represents more than just bricks and  mortar—it symbolizes growth, healing, and our steadfast commitment to providing life-saving care”, said Louis E. Wagner, Jr., President, CEO, and Co-Founder of SpiritLife, Inc. “By expanding our reach, we’re ensuring that more people have access to the comprehensive, compassionate, and evidence-based treatment they need and deserve.” (The new  facility is named after Father George Hnatko, who established the campus on which SpiritLife is located and, through the Eastern Orthodox Foundation, housed and treated over 10,000 homeless and indigent people over a 40-year period, prior to his death in 2022.)

SpiritLife, offers holistic, multi-dimensional inpatient treatment services to individuals across Western Pennsylvania and beyond, seeking to heal the whole person: mind, body and spirit.  While SpiritLife is a faith-based treatment community, with a Judeo-Christian ethos, it welcomes people of any faith or no faith whatsoever.  SpiritLife’s mission is “To bring the good news of freedom of spirit and health of mind and body to those held captive by addiction.”  Now celebrating its 10th anniversary, SpiritLife has established a stellar reputation as one of Western Pennsylvania’s leading providers of substance use and mental health treatment, guided by a philosophy rooted in hope, spirituality and transformation.  Since opening its doors in 2015, the organization has treated over 7,000 people with a holistic model that integrates clinical excellence, individualized care, and a  unique and supportive community environment.
