STEELERS’ CHRISTIAN KUNTZ RAISES $58,000 FOR PITTSBURGH YOUTH, EXPANDS IMPACT THROUGH KUNTZ 4 KI6S FOUNDATION
PITTSBURGH, PA (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — The Kuntz 4 Ki6s Foundation is celebrating a major milestone after raising $58,000 through its 3rd Annual Jack & Jill Golf Outing, presented by FMS Mechanical and Fazio Construction, with proceeds supporting youth leadership programs, scholarships, mentorship initiatives, and community partnerships benefiting children and families throughout Western Pennsylvania.
Founded by Pittsburgh native and Pittsburgh Steelers long snapper Christian Kuntz, Kuntz 4 Ki6s was created to provide opportunities, support, and resources for children and families throughout the region. Since its inception, the foundation has impacted hundreds of local youth through educational support, mentorship opportunities, community partnerships, and free youth programming.
“We started Kuntz 4 Ki6s because every child deserves access to opportunities, positive role models, and experiences that help them believe in what’s possible,” said Christian Kuntz, Founder of Kuntz 4 Ki6s. “To see our community come together and help us raise $58,000 is incredible. Every dollar raised allows us to expand our impact and continue creating meaningful opportunities for kids throughout Pittsburgh.”
The success of this year’s golf outing was made possible through the support of generous sponsors, community partners, volunteers, and participants who share the foundation’s commitment to investing in the next generation.
“At FMS Construction and Fazio Mechanical, we believe strong communities are built by investing in the next generation,” said Dom Fazio, Vice President. “Partnering with Kuntz 4 Ki6s for the Jack & Jill Golf Outing was an easy decision because of the tangible impact the organization is making in the lives of local children and families. Seeing the community come together to raise $58,000 for programs that provide mentorship, opportunities, and support for youth is something we’re incredibly proud to be part of. Christian and his team have built something special, and we’re honored to help further that mission.”
The foundation is now turning its attention to its upcoming Annual Youth Football Camp, taking place on June 27th at Chartiers Valley High School. The free camp will welcome more than 200 local children and their families for a day focused on football fundamentals, leadership development, mentorship, and personal growth.
A key component of this year’s camp is the foundation’s partnership with Tickets for Kids Charities, which is helping remove barriers to participation by providing access and transportation assistance for underserved youth throughout the Pittsburgh region.
“One of the biggest challenges many families face is simply getting their children to opportunities like this,” said Kuntz. “Our partnership with Tickets for Kids helps eliminate that barrier. Together, we’re making sure more kids can participate, learn, and be part of something positive regardless of their circumstances.”
“We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with the Kuntz 4 Ki6s Foundation to provide underserved children with a Christian Kuntz Youth Football Camp experience,” said Brandice Miller, Executive Director of Tickets for Kids Charities. “Christian is an excellent role model, and many of the children we serve are often missing that type of inspiration in their lives. Being a Pittsburgh native who gives back not only shows kids that anyone can become anything, but also that our hometown heroes care and that these kids are not forgotten.”
In addition to football instruction, campers will participate in activities designed to build confidence, teamwork, leadership skills, and lasting connections with local athletes and mentors. The camp remains free to participants thanks to the support of sponsors, donors, and community partners who believe every child deserves access to opportunities that inspire growth and confidence.
As Kuntz 4 Ki6s continues to expand its reach, the organization remains focused on its mission of empowering youth, supporting families, and creating pathways to success for children throughout Western Pennsylvania.
About Kuntz 4 Ki6s
Kuntz 4 Ki6s is a Pittsburgh-based nonprofit organization founded by Pittsburgh Steelers long snapper Christian Kuntz. Inspired by his own upbringing and the mentors who helped shape his journey, Kuntz created the foundation to promote youth leadership, mentorship, community engagement, and opportunities for underserved children and families throughout Western Pennsylvania.
Through fundraising events, community partnerships, scholarships, and youth programming, Kuntz 4 Ki6s is committed to creating meaningful and lasting impact beyond the playing field. In addition to hosting free youth development initiatives such as its annual Youth Football Camp, the foundation actively supports organizations serving vulnerable children and families across the region.
Among its community partnerships is its support of Jeremiah’s Place and Trying Together through the Bridge Scholarship Program. Through this partnership, Kuntz 4 Ki6s helps provide short-term childcare scholarships for families navigating the childcare subsidy process, helping parents attend job interviews, secure employment, access transportation, and pursue opportunities that may otherwise be out of reach due to childcare barriers. The partnership is expected to support dozens of local families while providing immediate access to safe childcare and family stabilization resources.
By investing in youth, strengthening families, and partnering with organizations that address critical community needs, Kuntz 4 Ki6s continues to serve as a catalyst for opportunity, hope, and positive change throughout the Pittsburgh region.
