PITTSBURGH, PA (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — Beechies Restaurant, which has been a staple in Washington County, was established in 1952 by Frank “Beechie” Bonanza and his wife Sophie. The present owners purchased Beechie’s in 2010 and have carried on the family tradition homestyle restaurant and bar venue. Owner/Chef Lane McFarland has put his own touches on the restaurant and has grown the business. Beechie’s has received multiple accolades and awards from The Pennsylvania Restaurant Association, Washington Observer, and has been featured in local and national industry publications.

Chef McFarland is relocating to join his wife and made the difficult decision to put the restaurant up for sale and go public. “We retained Specialty Group to find a buyer and my hope is that someone in the area will take advantage of this opportunity. Since my family purchased the restaurant in 2010, we have remodeled the facility and I have enjoyed living in the building as well. The area has expanded, and the restaurant has been very rewarding” stated Chef McFarland. The business will operate as usual while Specialty Group is marketing it.
