NEIGHBORHOOD RESILIENCE PROJECT GIVES THANKS ON GIVING TUESDAY TO OUR NURSES AND EMERGENCY RESPONDERS IN PITTSBURGH!
PITTSBURGH, PA (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — FIRST We hope you join us in saying “Thank You!” to our Nurses and Emergency Responders! We take our inspiration from these ‘front line’ Americans right here in Pittsburgh.
We are an organization that works to help the helpers and people of our community! Right now, NRP continues to provide: Telehealth services with our Free Clinic, 250 meals a week to Pittsburgh residents in need along with our Food Pantry and BackPack feeding program for Pittsburgh’s school kids.
SECOND, we are excited to announce NRP’s creation and local roll out of the “Community Health Deputy” program to keep people connected even as we are apart with telephonic wellness check-ins, food support to the vulnerable, and Telehealth for the uninsured and medically underserved.
The Community Health Deputy program has soared – with training and support for nearly 100 Community Health Deputies across 13 communities in our city and our county. Community Health Deputies work to aid hundreds of un-insured people gain access to telephonic health check-ups through our Free Health Center and volunteer clinicians. We ask you and your organization to join us in support!
