cfsbank’s Kelly Moore Named Board President of Leadership Washington County
CHARLEROI, PA (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — cfsbank is proud to announce that Kelly Moore, AVP of Business and Community Development, has been named the next Board President of Leadership Washington County (LWC), becoming the organization’s first female Board President in its history.
Moore brings more than 16 years of banking experience and a deep commitment to community leadership and service to her new role. At cfsbank, she has played an instrumental role in strengthening relationships across the region through business development, community engagement, and leadership initiatives that support economic and personal growth throughout southwestern Pennsylvania.
In addition to her role at cfsbank, Moore serves as Community Impact Chair for the Brave Women Project, is a member of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association’s Women in Banking Advisory Committee, and leads the Washington County inmate life-skills program, Foundations for FREEdom – Finding Resilience, Empowerment and Employment on Release. Her passion for mentorship, empowerment, and creating meaningful opportunities for others has made a lasting impact across the community.
“It is truly an honor to serve as the incoming President of Leadership Washington County,” said Moore. “Both Leadership Washington County and cfsbank share a commitment to strengthening our communities through connection, growth, and leadership development. I look forward to building upon the success of our signature program while continuing to create opportunities that empower both current and future leaders throughout our region.”
Moore succeeds former Board President Eric Chandler, whose leadership guided the organization through an important period of growth and transition.
“As the Executive Director of Leadership Washington County, I want to extend my sincere gratitude to Eric for his outstanding leadership and dedication during a significant time of transition for our organization,” said Trish Romano, MS, Executive Director of Leadership Washington County. “His steady guidance, unwavering support, and commitment to our mission helped provide stability and momentum as we continued to grow and evolve. We are deeply appreciative of the time, energy, and heart he invested in Leadership Washington County and the impact he has made on our organization and community.
“As we look ahead, I am excited to welcome Kelly as our new Board President,” Romano continued. “Kelly brings tremendous charisma, vision, and a strong passion for building meaningful relationships throughout our community. Her leadership style, combined with her focus on collaboration, engagement, and expanding our programs, positions Leadership Washington County for an exciting new chapter. I look forward to working alongside Kelly as we continue strengthening our mission and creating new opportunities for leadership development and community impact.”
